You touched on a big problem for the Democratic party - their foot soldiers are young, White, highly educated, ultra-liberal, privileged and completely out of touch with what the average American wants or needs, especially Black Americans. They're too busy pushing their progressive agenda to see what people really need right now.

I certainly get the sentiment of the "threat" of the Moderate Democrat but I still see it as better than the alternative.
