"They want you to believe that Herschel Junior Walker, arguably the best running back Georgia has ever seen, is an Uncle Tom."

That's false. That's what conservatives like to throw up when someone criticizing people of color for being Republicans, not conservatives. I have yet to hear anyone call Herschel Walker an Uncle Tom. But a lot of us "outsiders" certainly can see his lack of leadership experience, his mental deficiencies, and his ignorance of policy. He is seen as a puppet for the GOP who simply need butts in Senate seats for obstruct anything the Democrats propose, especially if it might actually help the majority of people in this country.

So let him be a football hero, flaws and all. But keep him out of the government. And let's not ignore how he's being used by Republicans and how that speaks to how White conservatives prefer Black men to behave.

I realize this is perhaps satire but it's still ridiculous and sad to me (and millions of people) that this is even a close race.
