There's no way Black and Brown people will control state and federal governments in 30 years. White people will still be the largest racial group. And they most assuredly still control the vast majority of the wealth and governing bodies in this country. And even when they do start to share some of that I doubt they will be subject to any of the violence and hatred that minorities in this country have historically endured.

I agree that we shouldn't think only White people can be racists. But in the U.S. it's so entwined with the power structure that is controlled by White people that it's hard to let go of that notion.
