That’s a question for scared White people, not me. I doubt you can get an honest answer from any of them, probably just half of a quote from MLK that they’ve co-opted.

And I’m talking about the status that comes from living in a society designed by White men for the benefit of White men. The government, legal system, land and property ownership, and economy were all designed to benefit White men. Of course, women and minorities have gained access to that system but we’re far from everyone having equal opportunity.
