So your solution to black kids feeling bad about their race is to make white kids feel bad about their race?

Absolutely not. I never said that. Didn't even imply it. If you think “black kids feeling bad about their race” is the problem then you’re not paying attention.

We should be aiming for a world where no child understands themselves as a member of a racial group.

My 2-year-old can clearly see that he does not look like anyone else in his class. When he sees other Black or Brown people he clearly recognizes that they are like him, especially children. What should we teach him so that he is not plagued by this "social construct."
