There are 16 times as many White people in this country as Native Americans.
There are 10 times as many White people in this country as Asians.
There are 5 times as many White people in this country as Hispanic or Latino people.
Outside of major cities there isn’t really much diversity. Just the big differences in population and segregation alone could explain why most White people don’t have any non-White friends. It doesn’t make them racist. It’s mainly just a lack of exposure. And rich people paying for surveys means nothing in this subjective context. And a Black man being elected president doesn’t mean White people all of a sudden have non-White friends when they didn’t before.
