It's weird how some people STILL think Macs are for graphic designers and musicians. I'm with you - the vast majority of devs I've known over the past decade use Macs. And the ones that insist on using Windows are the ones that always seem to have problems with testing and deploying web-based apps and spend way too much time emulating a Mac/Linux environment.

I hope the new Macs continue to be great dev machines. It remains to be seen how VM's will perform going forward but it's still too early to see how much of an effect Apple silicon has on the overall hardware environment.
