It's unfortunate that so many of the comments for this article are dismissing your experience. It illustrates my interpretation of the "model minority" contract. Work hard and you'll be allowed to be successful... to a point. Work hard and you'll be propped up as examples of the American dream. Then you too can disparage those lazy Black and Brown people that sacrificed during the Civil Rights Movement to make all your success possible. Just keep your head down and don't complain.
