I'm not so young. And I'd like to think I'm not that naive either. Like I said, I understand your skepticism when it comes to using blockchain tech for tracking personal information about people, specifically the poor and minorities. I have not really considered the ramifications of that and will definitely do my own research. However, my focus is more on the investment aspect of blockchain technology aka cryptocurrencies. I believe that Black people absolutely need to be on top of this and part of the conversation and technological development. Frankly, I am not stacking crypto now to spend on materials things. I view them as assets that retain value in our increasingly digital world and look forward to my grandchildren including them in their portfolio the same way rich people currently hold real estate or gold. And they will be able to control those assets because they don't have to be linked to any institution.
