I wouldn't really say Fresh Prince was complex. There certainly was good character development and they touched on some serious topics. But overall, it was a silly comed that didn't make us think much.

As for The Boondocks, I'm skeptical that most people actually understood the satire. It was humorous but I didn't really think of it as a comedy.
