I think the main problem with CRT is that it has been politicized and so many things that have nothing to do with critical race theory are being thrown into this basket of boogeymen to scare White conservatives. Certain politicians have even stated that their intent is to weaponize the term and make it so convoluted that anything that makes certain people angry can be labeled CRT. Your point that CRT is subjective is the most dangerous thing about the whole controversy. I hope all the hype goes away soon. But one thing I hope to see more of is difficult discussions about race in America. It may be "divisive" but it's encouraging to see more White people learning some truths about our history.
