I still have about 99% of my CD's. I've gotten rid of the plastic cases and put them in sleeves along with the booklets for easier storage. I'm not as attached to the physical media as I used to be. (That's what my vinyl is for.) But just about every CD has been ripped to AIFF or FLAC. And I still buy music from the artists I really like in those formats as well. I have considered the future of accessing all my music and I just take a little time here and there to make sure it's all tagged and backed up. Hard drives are cheap nowadays and I'm fairly confident I'll be able to play these files if and when Spotify goes away.
