I exempted the MCU because it’s in the realm of fantasy and science fiction, which is what we’re discussing. And of course you used the Black Panther as your “black friend” example and there were plenty of white people in that movie. Of course movies in REAL places would feature people native to that location. But as I pointed out, we’re discusses FICTIONAL places. So you’re right, I don’t expect a movie set in a REAL PLACE that is not diverse to be diverse. So your point about European movies having to be multi-cultural is empty. We’re talking about fantasy lands.

Also, you should check out the movies coming out of Bollywood in recent years. They are littered with white people.
