I agree whole-heartedly. I'm more than happy to tip for service, but now we're expected to tip for what used to be just part of the employee's regular job. And if my tip is not actually paying their wages then it's just a bonus. And where does it stop? Should I tip my insurance agent every time I pay my bill? Will I have to tip my children for chores? Tips should be for services where a customer is shown some type of care, not just for people doing what they're already being paid to do.

Unfortunately, I still feel extra pressure to tip because I have to counter the stereotype that Black people don't tip. And that's probably not going away anytime soon with this tipping for every little thing nonsense.
