First of all, stop thinking of Bitcoin as money and regard it as an asset. It may have started as an alternative to fiat money but it's become a better store of value. There are other blockchain projects that are much better for everyday transactions.

So I would say Bitcoin is better than gold. Gold takes up space. Gold is heavy. And you can't move $100m worth of gold in a few minutes at the cost of a few dollars.
