Depends on what you're developing for. The vast majority of developers where I've worked as well as others I've encountered ae Mac / Linux users. It seems to make sense if you're developing for the web with all the command line tools and containers for Mac. But when you factor in developers working for companies entrenched in the Microsoft ecosystem or even those developing for Android, it probably far outweighs other platforms just due to the huge installed base for Windows and cheaper hardware.
