But we still can't have a frank and honest discussion about race and racism in this country. We can argue all day about what is and what isn't CRT or what's actually being taught in grade schools but how do we actually relate and create empathy for different experiences without hurting people's feelings?
You comment about progress being "trivial because it catered to whites' interests." The main controversy today is all about White people's feelings being hurt. And as usual, that matters more than the voices and opinions of the rest of us. Politicians don't even try to hide the fact that they are using CRT as a blanket term to rile up their base. And when you see the people crying about this, how can we not view this as White people using their privilege to filter history for their own comfort?
